Teknaform produces Thermoplastic PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride Plastic) edge-banding for office furniture, through an**extrusion process using proprietary manufacturing equipment to custom match most brand name High Pressure**Laminate furniture and Thermally Fused Melamine shelving. With thirteen, quality controlled production lines**operating in a 24-hour facility, Teknaform delivers their customized edge-banding to dealers, distributors and**manufacturers in North America.**Teknaform currently offers a Custom and Stock Program of the most popular PVC edge-banding products with a**24-hour turnaround. Beyond manufacturing custom patterns, the company wants to explore on demand custom**manufacturing to print on-site. For this innovation, Teknaform wants to build a portable printer that is suitable to**imprint patterns onto stock vinyl edge-banding material for office furniture, as a means of mass customization of**their product line.
