New subject, "Information Technology (IT)" was started for all students of upper secondary schools in 2003. This research is related to the development of network-oriented digital contents for the subject of "Information Technology". The results of this research are as follows.(1) Key-concept Analysis of the subject "Information Technology"(2) Network-oriented Teaching Model for e-Learning/WBL(3) Development of Digital Contents based on e-Learning/WBLThe aim of the new subject "IT" is not only to learn how to use a computer but also to develop information literacy so that students get important information without being confused by incorrect or unnecessary data. It also involves students being able to convey information about them. It is important that the new subject is needed even for scientific problem solving with computer.
