* **Myself:**I am the neurodiverse, female cofounder of a new and innovative HealthTech business based in Dorset. Most recently, I led 3 departments (product/marketing/engagement) at an HRTech-startup in London that was co-founded by two high-profile, serial tech-entrepreneurs and funded by tier-1 investors. Before that, I founded a software and marketing agency in London in my early twenties and ran it successfully for 7 years with my business partner. I learned about business from my father's large commercial farm in Zimbabwe. I love public-speaking and welcome the opportunity to be a role-model to other neurodiverse, female founders, and entrepreneurial-expats like myself.* **My business:**TurboGaming is a healthTech business that aims to tackle the alarming statistics regarding insufficient physical activity during childhood/adolescence, and the downstream effects thereof.In the UK, more than half of 6-16yr olds (55.4%) are insufficiently active (SportsEngland, 2021). Whilst 1-in-3 leave primary school already overweight/obese (Department of Health&Social Care).In the USA, only 23% of high school students are sufficiently active while 46% spend a whopping 3+ hours per day playing sedentary video games. (Centers for Disease Control?evention, 2019)._**The Vision:**_ Convert 100+ popular, mainstream racing-games on PlayStation and Xbox, into pedal-powered fitness-games, played from our new, game-changing, IoT 'bicycle-games-controller'. More than doubling the number of fitness-games available on the market in less than 5 years, without developing any new games.Compatible games include Disney Cars, Sonic, Hot Wheels, Wreckfest, Forza Horizon, Rocket League, F1 and many more.The founding team has 33 years of combined experience and the chosen subcontractor specialises in human-centred design with experts in bicycle related design.* **My idea:**Think of it as a **'bicycle-arcade'** for children/tweens/teens.Pedal-power equates to in-game speed utilising one of two proprietary algorithms;a. Social/Inclusiveb. Fair/Competitive (Enabling eSports)Handlebars rotate to steer whilst triggers and joysticks on the grips allow players to brake, shoot or jump.Testing a proof-of-concept prototype yielded unanimous enthusiasm from children/tweens/teens whilst parents cheered for them, like it was sports day! We have a growing waiting-list of beta-testers waiting for units.A new 'Strava-meets-Twitch' application will connect users, gamify participation (leaderboards/badges/trophies), and host athletic-eSports. The app will provide an age-appropriate, 'digital sports club' experience._**Award-plan:**_As well as mentoring, I plan to strengthen my knowledge and business network through the bootcamps and expert advice. I plan to complete the R&D for beta units, and the MVP following beta-testing, ahead of a commercialised post-project MVP-launch.
