1) Women who achieved pregnancy by infertility treatment had significant lower anxiety toward changing body image and the sex of their fetus, and significant higher anxiety toward the normality of their fetus than the fertile pregnant women.2) Intimate scores did hot differ significantly between women who achieved pregnancy by infertility treatment and the fertile pregnant women at 3rd trimester of pregnancy, early postpartum, and 1 month after birth.3) Thirteen themes emerged as experiences of women who achieved pregnancy by infertility treatment. Nine themes were positive experiences and four were negative experiences.4) Two women who had "the experience of hope of natural reproduction with hormone therapy" accepted their pregnancy as a result of natural reproduction, and the experience did not affect on their process of maternal role attainment.5) Another eight positive infertile experiences affected either positively or negatively on maternal identity during pregnancy, but didn't affect on maternal role attainment after birth.6) The infertility experience had some effects on the process of maternal role attainment for the women who perceived their pregnancy as a result of artificial reproduction. These women showed higher anxiety about the well-being of their fetus, felt the quickening earlier, and showed maternal behaviors of preterm birth prevention.7) The infertility experience had negative effect on maternal identity for some women, and these women also experienced negative effect on the process of maternal role attainment after birth.
