项目摘要

A variety of studies and theories about conversion of practitioner-patient relationship and about patient's independence have been developed as a collaborative research for two years. We summarized the results as a following report.I.Introduction : Structure and classification of researches in "practitioner-patient relationship"II.Mutual effect and communication between Physician and patient :Relationship between outpatients' perceptions of physicians' communication styles and patients' anxiety levels in a Japanese oncology setting/Physician-patient interaction and patient satisfaction in Japanese cancer consultations/The Roter method of interaction process analysisIII.Process of decision-making in medicine and patient's participation :"Informed consent" and practitioner-patient relationship in malpractice suits/Attitudes of obstetrician/pediatrician toward pre-birth diagnosis/The rate of explanation and examination of the pre-birth diagnosis, the decision-making of a pregnant woman/Citizens' assertiveness towards participation during medical consultations/Reconsideration of the concept of "self-determination/the right of self-determination" /Towards the better understanding of preferences for participation in treatment decision-making processesIV.New relationships of practitioner-patient and among practitioners :Narrative therapy : A new form of the nurse-patient relationship./New relationship between people with physical disability aiming at Independent Living and their assistants in Tokyo/Changes in patients' frame of reference on their hospitalization/Patient satisfaction surveys : Problems and recent evolutions/Gene counseling of cancer-social, psychological aspects/Concept and measurement of collaboration between doctor and nurse/Nurses' career orientation and related factors : A study at large general hospitals/V.Review of six related English literatures
