项目摘要

まず中国系新移民次世代を捉える理論的基盤に関して検討した。移民第二世代の同化理論やトランスナショナリズム、「移動する子ども」論に関する文献を読み進め、本研究においては中国系新移民次世代を「トランス・マイグラント」として捉えるという視座が最も適していることを確認した。第二に、ヨーロッパの中国浙江省出身者数が最大のイタリアと二番目のスペインの中国系コミュニティを対象に、歴史的変遷や経済活動の展開に焦点を当てて文献に基づいて明らかにした。特に集住地区を形成しているイタリアのプラートとスペインのバルセロナを中心に検討した。親世代は自営業者がほとんどを占め、中国との関係をビジネスに生かしながら成功者も増加していた。さらに、イタリアとスペインにおける中国系新移民次世代の学校適応や社会統合に関する先行研究を整理した。第三に、中国政府の海外華僑政策の歴史的変遷を跡づけ、ヨーロッパの中国系移民の帰国奨励が政策上どのように捉えられているのかを検討した。帰国華僑の国籍や戸籍等、シティズンシップに関わる問題や帰国後の中国社会への適応について、文献に基づいて理解を深めた。第四に、コロナ禍によって海外調査には行かなかったが、メールやSNSを通してスペインの中国系次世代にインタビューをし、親族の帰国状況についてのデータを収集し、今年度の現地調査のための基盤を作った。また、浙江省温州市在住の研究協力者とは密に連絡を取り、現地調査に向けて準備をした。

Third, we traced the historical changes in the Chinese government's overseas overseas Chinese policy and examined how the policy views the encouragement of European Chinese immigrants returning to Japan. Based on literature, I deepened my understanding of issues related to citizenship, such as the nationality and family register of returning Chinese people, and adaptation to Chinese society after returning to Japan.
