In this study, the effects of joint panel shear deformation to elastic plastic behavior of Moment Resisting Steel Frames are investigated conducting a series of loading tests and FE analyses with varying joint panel strength ratio, weld detail and width to thickness ratio of beam flange. The ultimate strength of MRFs that is designed under the weak panel design concept is decreased by decrease of the panel strength ratio because of the strain concentration at beam flange near the weld. Regardless of this strength reduction, the cumulative plastic deformation capacity of MRFs with weak panel design concept, increases by decrease of the panel strength ratio.
在本研究中,通过改变接头板强度比、焊缝细节和梁翼缘宽厚比,进行一系列载荷试验和有限元分析,研究了接头板剪切变形对抗弯钢框架弹塑性行为的影响。由于焊缝附近梁翼缘处的应变集中,在弱面板设计理念下设计的磁流变框架的极限强度会随着面板强度比的降低而降低。无论强度如何降低,具有弱面板设计概念的磁流变材料的累积塑性变形能力都会随着面板强度比的降低而增加。
