项目摘要
Topographical distribution of trees were detected in a 306ha of watershed on Mt. Tanzawa ; large trees were mainly distributed on main ridges, many small trees did on narrow ridges and thus above-ground biomass was larger around those ridges, although there was a great diversity in habitat preference among tree species. At a sub-alpine riparian forest on Mt. Minami Alps, tree distribution was coincided with the arrangement of micro-topographical units each having different disturbance regime.
