Agricultural Off-season Craft (Noukan Kougei in Japanese) refers to the creation processes for a variety of handicraft works that are done at leisure or during the farming off-season. These items are made for personal use or as wares to be sold. The creation processes utilized do not require complex tools or skills, and are made with local natural materials and simple tools.By studying these traditional practices it is possible to gain insight on flexible creation methods and techniques that fit into various environments. Hence, agricultural off-season craft was studied, and a workshop was held adopting its concepts and techniques into various art education fields. Then in 2013, a new course (Mokuzai Zoukei Ron in Japanese) which also applies these agricultural off-season craft concepts was started at the University of Tsukuba.The contents of this research are introduced on our home page.

农业淡季工艺品（日语中的Noukan Kougei）是指在休闲或淡季期间进行的各种手工艺品的创作过程。这些物品是供个人使用或作为商品出售的。使用的创建过程不需要复杂的工具或技能，并且是由当地的天然材料和简单工具制成的。通过研究这些传统实践，可以洞悉适合各种环境的灵活创建方法和技术。因此，研究了农业淡季工艺，并举行了一个研讨会，将其概念和技术采用到各种艺术教育领域。然后在2013年，一门新课程（日语中的Mokuzai Zoukei Ron）也适用了这些农业淡季手工艺概念，在Tsukuba大学开始了。这项研究的内容是在我们的主页上引入的。
