人間と自然の関係史を探究する歴史生態学や環境史の視点にもとづき、人間の営為と自然の営力の動態的絡み合いの歴史的産物として「景観」を措定し、マーシャル諸島マジュロ環礁の現景観生み出した歴史の通史的研究を実施した。考古学と地球科学が連節したジオアーケオロジーを中心に、歴史人類学ならびに形質人類学と現地調査を共有し、環礁州島が形成され始めた完新世後期からおよそ2000年間にわたる景観史を明らかにした。
基于探索人际关系和自然历史的历史生态学和环境历史的观点，“景观”被指定为人类活动和自然力量动态交织的历史产物，并对马沙尔群岛Majuro Atoll otlos of Majuro Atolscape的历史进行了一般历史研究。该小组分享了历史人类学，特质人类学和现场研究，重点是地球考古学，这是考古学与地球科学之间的联系，并揭示了从全新世晚期，当时土木环岛岛开始形成的景观历史。
