Three numerical models, which include Model 1 based on LES method, Model 2 on FDS method, and Model 3 on SMAC method and MUSCL technique, are developed as a rational and effective method for placing turbidity fence to reduce diffusion of turbidity, which is induced by direct dumping of soil into coastal waters using a bottom-dump barge. Among these model, Model 1 and 3 can simulate three dimensional motion, diffusion and depositional process of the turbidity cloud, which falls and spreads under the action of its own buoyancy during the falling stage, subsequently the turbidity cloud impinges on the bottom boundary, and propagates horizontally along the bottom boundary during the spreading stage.The model performance is examined through two-and three dimensional experimental data. Considering stability, efficiency, accuracy, expandability and flexibility of the models, Model 3 is proposed as a practical model. Furthermore, Model 3 is applied practical situation in order to demonstrate ability of the model.In addition, in order to understand and clarify the fundamental of the phenomena, theoretical and experimental study is also conducted. A thermal theory for the falling stage, the transition depth from thermal phase to swarm phase in terms of-the dumping condition, the transition depth and speed from thermal phase in finite water depth, and others.
建立了基于 LES 方法的模型 1、基于 FDS 方法的模型 2、基于 SMAC 方法和 MUSCL 技术的模型 3 三种数值模型,作为放置浊度栅栏以减少浊度扩散的合理有效方法,并归纳出使用底卸驳船将土壤直接倾倒到沿海水域。其中,模型1和模型3可以模拟浊云的三维运动、扩散和沉积过程,浊云在下落阶段在自身浮力的作用下下落、扩散,随后撞击底部边界,扩散阶段沿底部边界水平传播。通过二维和三维实验数据检验模型性能。考虑到模型的稳定性、效率、准确性、可扩展性和灵活性,模型3被提出作为实用模型。此外,模型3还应用了实际情况,以证明模型的能力。此外,为了理解和阐明现象的基本原理,还进行了理论和实验研究。下落阶段的热理论、倾倒条件下从热阶段到群阶段的转变深度、有限水深中从热阶段的转变深度和速度等。
