A) I found suitable institutions and partners for interviews and my longer research stays to study and engage with in collaborative humanities-based activities: Ahmed Bahwa, University of Johannesburg, South Africa, and Mary Bryson and Mary Chapman, directors of the Public Humanities Hub at the University of British Columbia, Canada. I am preparing two trips for year 2 (Vancouver in September, Johannisburg and Port Elizabeth ). I have conducted preliminary interview with them about their view of the future of the humanities and the role of collaborative practices.B) I have produced a draft for a journal article on "The coming YouTube humanities - On the epistemic conditions of digital audio-visual academic publishing" that I will submit to the journal Digital Scholarship in the Humanities.
