Objective To investigate whether S - adenosylmethionine (SAM) has a protective effect on the damage of primary cultured mouse cortical neurons caused by KCl stimulation and its mechanism. Methods The mouse cortical neurons cultured for 1 week in primary culture were randomly divided into 3 groups: normal (Control) group, KCl group, and SAM - KCl group. The morphological changes of cells in each group were observed with an inverted microscope, and the expression changes of caveolin - 1 (Cav - 1) mRNA and protein, which are structural proteins of caveolae in the plasma membrane, in each group were detected by qPCR and Western blot respectively. Results 0.05 mol·L⁻¹ KCl acting on the mouse cortical neurons cultured for 1 week in primary culture for 12 h could cause obvious changes in neurons...(最后一个“明显”后面似乎还有内容未给出完整)
