Nerve injury is related to the regulation of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) and inhibitors (TIMPs) in the extracellular matrix (ECM) [1]. We caused damage to induced pluripotent stem cell-derived neural stem cells (iPSCs - NSCs) in vitro by using the stimulation of H₂O₂ and observed the changes of MMP - 2, MMP - 9 and TIMP - 2 during the nerve injury process.
1. Materials and methods
1.1 Induction and differentiation of iPSCs into NSCs: The iPSCs derived from mice (provided by the Guangzhou Institutes of Biomedicine and Health, Chinese Academy of Sciences) were co-cultured with fibroblasts.
