Using Chrysanthemum weyrichii as the test material, the genome size was estimated by flow cytometry. At the same time, the number of chromosomes of C. weyrichii was counted by the chromosome counting method and the chromosomal localization of its rDNA was studied. The results showed that the genome size of C. weyrichii was 10.02 Gb, the number of chromosomes was 2n = 8x = 72, there were 4 pairs of loci for 5S rDNA hybridization signals, located in the sub-median part of the chromosomes; there were 8 pairs of loci for 45S rDNA hybridization signals, located at the ends of the chromosomes. The research results provide a basis for the genome analysis of this species and the study of chromosome evolution of Chrysanthemum plants.
以Chrysanthemum weyrichii 为试材,采用流式细胞术估算其基因组大小,同时利用染色体计数法统计了C.weyrichii的染色体条数并对其rDNA染色体定位进行了研究。结果表明:C.weyrichii基因组大小为10.02 Gb,染色条数为2n=8x=72,5S rDNA杂交信号有4对位点,位于染色体的亚中部;45S rDNA杂交信号有8对位点,位于染色体的末端。该研究结果为该物种基因组分析以及菊属植物染色体进化研究提供了依据。
