The variation characteristics of sea surface temperature (SST) in the East China Sea during the warming hiatus period (1998 - 2014) were analyzed using the original observational data of HadSST3 and the reanalysis data of HadISST1. The research shows that the SST variation characteristics and degrees of the two sets of data are similar. During the warming hiatus period, the linear trends of SST in the Bohai Sea, the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea are mainly negative, and the largest cooling is concentrated near the Yangtze River Estuary, about -1 °C. The net heat flux in some areas of the Bohai Sea, the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea has a positive effect on the decrease of SST, while the net heat flux in the Kuroshio area of the East China Sea has a negative effect on the decrease of SST. The weakening of the Kuroshio intrusion may be the main reason for the decrease of the sea surface temperature in the East China Sea. During the warming hiatus period, the trend of SST change has more significant regional seasonal characteristics. In spring, the SST shows a downward trend in almost the entire sea basin, especially near the Yangtze River Estuary, with a maximum decrease of -1.4 °C; in summer, the downward trend of SST is weaker than that in spring, and the area with the largest decrease is mainly concentrated in the Bohai Sea; in autumn, the SST in the Bohai Sea decreases more significantly; in winter, the SST change is mainly along the Yangtze River Estuary, and the SST changes in the Bohai Sea and the Yellow Sea are not obvious.
通过HadSST3原始观测数据和HadISST1重组数据,分析了东中国海海温在增暖停滞期(1998-2014年)的变化特征。研究表明:两组数据的海温变化特征和程度相似。在增暖停滞期,渤海、黄海和东海海温线性趋势主要表现为负,降温最多的集中在长江口附近,约-1 ℃。渤海、黄海及东海部分区域的净热通量对海温降低起正作用,而在东海黑潮区海洋的净热通量对海温降低起负作用,黑潮入侵的减弱可能是东海海表温度下降的主要原因。在增暖停滞期,海温变化趋势具有较显著的区域性季节特征。春季海温几乎呈现全海盆的下降趋势,尤以长江口附近下降最多,可达-1.4 ℃;夏季海温下降趋势较春季减弱,下降最多的地区主要集中在渤海;秋季渤海海温下降较明显;冬季海温变化主要在长江口沿岸,渤黄海海温的变化并不明显。
