项目摘要

Researchers and engineers have recognized for decades that mechanical vibration and wave motion may promote mobilization of liquid in porous media. Liquid mobilization or liquid removal from porous materials with mechanical vibration is highly interested by the industries for promoting oil production in oil fields, or increasing the effectiveness and extending lifetime of porous materials used in construction, manufacturing and noise control. However, the understanding of the liquid mobilization stimulated by vibration and wave is still rudimentary due to limitations in prior theoretical and experimental analyses and the complexity of the physical phenomena involved.
