项目摘要

In 2000, studies on tribo-sheet were carried as follows ;1. Production of Precise Die Tool (Deposition Process by Electrical Discharge Machining)A revolutionary new deposition process by using micro electrical discharge machining (micro EDM) to fabricate highly complex 3-dimensional microstructures without special material or machining fluid is developed to produce a precise die tool for the tribo-sheet. Steel or aluminum alloy is used for both the tool electrode (diameter 0.1 mm) and the workpiece, and the EDM process is carried out in air or nitrogen gas. The suitable discharge conditions for this EDM deposition process are predicted from the transient temperature analysis of the tool electrode and the workpiece. In this analysis the energy distributions in the tool electrode and the workpiece which depend on the material combination of the electrode and workpiece and polarity are considered. The deposition process is realized whether the tool electrode material is the same as that of the workpiece or not. It is found that the deposition process can easily be switched to the removal process by changing only the polarity of the tool electrode. These results were presented in a paper listed in {11. REFERENCES}.2. Theoretical Analysis by Soft Elasthydrodynamic LubricationPressure generation of the tribo-sheet is examined theoretically. The elastic deformations of the sheet and the oil film pressure are repeatedly calculated by FEM and Reynold' s equation, respectively. An optimum design of the tribo-sheet can be obtained by the calculated results. These results will be presented in a meeting listed in {11. REFERENCES}.3. Short-Stroke Reciprocate Slide Test of Tribo-SheetInsufficient friction performance was obtained by a previous testing equipment shown in a proceeding listed in {11. REFERENCES}.
