Objective: To investigate the serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D [25(OH)D] level in hospitalized male patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and explore its relationship with sex hormones. Methods: 371 hospitalized male patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were selected, and their 25(OH)D levels, glycolipid metabolism indexes, bone metabolism indexes and sex hormone indexes were detected. According to the 25(OH)D level, the patients were divided into four groups by quartile method, and the differences in glycolipid metabolism and sex hormone indexes among the groups were compared. Multiple linear regression method was used to analyze the correlation between 25(OH)D and total testosterone and other indexes. Results: Patients with vitamin D deficiency or insufficiency accounted for 96.5% of the hospitalized male type 2 diabetic population. Patients with higher 25(OH)D had higher high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL - C), while body mass index (BMI), homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance index (HOMA - IR) and triglyceride (TG) were relatively lower (P < 0.05). In the linear regression model, 25(OH)D was linearly and positively correlated with total testosterone (TT) (β = 0.116, P = 0.006), and the above correlation disappeared after adjusting for BMI (β = 0.061, P = 0.053). Conclusion: In hospitalized male patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, vitamin D is generally in a state of deficiency or insufficiency. There is a linear positive correlation between vitamin D and total testosterone, but it is affected by BMI.
目的调查住院男性2型糖尿病患者血清25-羟维生素D[25(OH) D]水平,并探讨其与性激素之间的关系。方法选择住院男性2型糖尿病患者371例,检测其25(OH)D水平、糖脂代谢指标、骨代谢指标和性激素指标。根据25(OH)D水平采用四分法将患者分为四组,比较组间糖脂代谢及性激素指标的差异。采用多元线性回归法分析25(OH)D与总睾酮及其他指标间的相关性。结果维生素D缺乏或不足患者占住院男性2型糖尿病人群的96.5%。25(OH)D较高的患者有较高的高密度脂蛋白胆固醇(HDL-C),而体重指数(BMI)、稳态模型评估的胰岛素抵抗指数(HOMA-IR)和三酰甘油(TG)则相对较低(P<0.05)。在线性回归模型中,25(OH)D与总睾酮(TT)呈线性正相关关系(β = 0.116,P = 0.006),在校正BMI后上述相关性消失(β=0.061,P=0.053)。结论在住院男性2型糖尿病患者中,维生素D呈普遍缺乏或不足的状态,维生素D与总睾酮之间呈线性正相关,但受BMI影响。
